Had a great time at International Friendship Day at Telok Kurau Primary School 🌏✨
We were happy to be part of the celebration with a kendo booth, sharing a little bit of our sport, culture, and spirit with the students. From holding the shinai to learning a few basic movements, it was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement.
Thank you for having us! Always a joy to introduce kendo to the next generation.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Sumi sensei.
Sumi sensei had meaningful interactions with SKC previously, and his guidance, spirit, and dedication to kendo left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to learn from him.
We are grateful for the opportunity to have crossed paths with Sumi sensei and to have received his guidance.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and all whose kendo journey he touched.
Rest in peace, Sumi sensei.

We kicked off the year with our first keiko last Sunday. The children shared their hopes, goals and values they want to carry forward in both kendo and daily life.
We also took time to express our gratitude to the people who have supported the club over the past year.
A new year, a fresh start, and the same spirit of learning, respect and togetherness.
To a great 2026!
