We are a group in Singapore dedicated to Kyudo, the traditional art of Japanese archery. Kyudo Association (Singapore) was started since October 2014.
International Kyudo Federation also officially recognises us as one of the member nations. We aim to promote traditional Japanese archery, Kyudo, within Singapore. π2025 YEAR END RECAPπ | 11TH ANNIVERSARY & 2ND ASIA-OCEANIA KYUDO GATHERINGπ
As we enter into another year of Kyudo, we would like to revisit some of the events that happened in the last few months of the year. Besides the Nippon Budo Delegation in Singapore event that happened at the end of November, we also had 2 more big events that happened around the same time!π€©β¨οΈ
On 25th October 2025, we had KAS's 11th Anniversary. As we celebrate another year of our Association, we had some exciting events that happened on that day. First was the Hitotsu-mato Sharei δΈγ€ηε°η€Ό that was performed by three of our members. Next was the team event where everyone had fun shooting at the mato that mimicked a dart board and answered quizzes about Kyudo to gain pointsπ―π―
On 15th to 16th November 2025, some of our KAS members had the opportunity to participate in the 2nd Asia-Oceania Kyudo Gathering that was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We had the chance to meet many of our fellow kyudo practitioners from around the Asia-Oceania region and not only had a great time competing against them, but also taking the opportunity to observe and learn from themπͺπ»

NIPPON BUDO DELEGATION IN SINGAPOREπ₯πΉ | 29-30TH NOVEMBER 2025
We are honoured to have been given the amazing opportunity by Nippon Budokan and the Japanese Budo Association to host six kyudoka senseis in our dojo on the 29th of November 2025. We showed them how KAS trains, from the set up of the dojo to the tearing down of the dojo. We were also given the chance to observe their forms as well as receive some guidance from them. γζε°γγγγγ¨γγγγγΎγγβΌοΈβΊοΈ
The next day (30th November) followed with the official Japanese Budo Delegation Demonstration and Workshop event held at Singapore Sports Hub OCBC Arena. Many of our members went down to support the senseis at their demonstration as well as took part in the various workshops of different budo.

[The 2nd Asia-Oceania Kyudo Gathering]
The Kyudo Association of Singapore is honoured to be able to participate in this year's Asia-Oceania Kyudo Gathering held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with our fellow kyudo practitioners from various countries in the Asia-Oceania region.
We will be sending these 4 members to represent our country in the team event on 15th November 2025. We also have 10 of our members participating in the individual event being held the day after on 16th November 2025.
