I’m not one for putting out negativity but some things must be addressed.

There have been rumours going around about how I ‘stole’ the athletes from my previous club employers, leaving them to rebuild their team ‘against the odds’. This is amongst many other accusations; and I hope they stop.

The triathlon industry is small, and I’m sure we all have bigger and better things to focus on.

I wanted to post the previous video together with these photos but IG formatting doesn’t allow me to showcase the best of both worlds so i now have to separate these 2 posts☹️

Anyway, the previous video is the glorified version of my 9-5 (who am I kidding I don’t work standard hours 😏), the promo vibes video that tries to showcase the best side of my life, void of those stressful moments, behind-the-scenes planning, meetings, paper work etc, all the things that a full time job would expect.

So I very fortunately found myself amongst a bunch of like-minded biz friends that are wayyy better at handling all the stuff that I can’t. And the best part is that working together allows us to set up a sustainable business and to pay forward our love for the sport, both at the same time🙂

I first got introduced to the 🏖Beach life when I was working at Beach Patrol whilst juggling University. During lunch break, my lifeguard friends would 🏊🏻‍♀️swim and 🏃🏻‍♀️run the perimeters of the beach over and over until the lunch over is up. That essentially, is a mini Aquathlon in itself, repeated over and over 🥵I thought them to be weird and crazy, until I decided to join in one day 🤪
Then, I also recalled having to save many months of pay 💸to get my first pair of Radar Path in red and white. Those then were da bombzzz 😎

I was the slowest then, and also the only one that didn’t know how to ride a bike🚫🚲. So needless to say, I got laughed at alot. But I did my first Triathlon anyway, doubled the distance in the following year, and flew to World Champs in the next 🙂🏆

Fast forward to today, the things that I have achieved in competitive sport are many, and have exceeded my own expectations in every way. But Sport is so much more than just competition-it is a vehicle for change🗣, a platform to unify🌈, and a way to giveback🙏🏼⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Coming full circle now, I feel incredibly blessed to be developing and educating the best practices to the next batch of aspiring 🏊🏻‍♀️🚴🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️athletes. To be reacquainted with as brand ambassador and as a creative coaching platform, it is the dream of dreams and best of two worlds coming together for me🥰

The Kokoro Collection is a collaboration with Japanese, New York based Artise, Meguru Yamaguchi. His signature fluid strokes represents the HEART❤️MIND🧠SPIRIT🧘🏻 (meaning of the word Kokoro) of Sport and its players.
