Chi sau (黐手) - sticky hands training.

Chi sau is a critical training method in Ving Tsun. Work with your partner, and by all means, apply pressure, strive to maintain a dominant position, but do not consider it a fight.

It is a multi-faceted training method that encompasses hand and body positioning, balance, coordination, structural stability, power generation, sensing your opponent, instinct training, and many more benefits which you should not overlook...

In the words of Mr Lee, "Don't concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all that heavenly glory..."

Seminar topic on comparing the Chi Sau styles of the WSLVT (Wong Shun Leung Lineage) and Ip Ching lineage organised by the school of Dennis Lee.

Great to catch up with WSLVT guys si-bak John Wong Hong Chung and si-hing Edment in Singapore.

And also good to have in Singapore (one of darren elvey's students from Melbourne and guys).

It's always too long in between whenever we meet. There's also never enough time, but it was great hanging out and chatting once again.

A great recent visit from brothers of the WSLVT (Wong Shun Leung Ving Tsun) lineage.

It was our first time meeting, but the ice was already broken by the fact that we shared the same Ving Tsun DNA. Our concepts, philosophy, and application aligned immediately.

We spoke the same VT language with ever so slightly different accents...(and not to mention their verbal accents since they were from Australia 🇦🇺 😆)

I enjoyed your sharing of the variations in methodology and application, great to see.
