Shohib Marican employed a much more decisive racing style in the 10,000m, taking the lead from more than halfway out to clock the only sub-35 time of the night. All the womenโs podium finishers went under the previous championship record, but it was Vanessa Leeโs sub-40 result that nabbed new record honours.

The race ainโt over till you cross the line๐
After trailing the leader for most of the IVP 5000m race, Shohib Marican blasted past the leader in the final 150m with a blistering 65s final lap.
Not to be daunted by racing against the big boys, POLITE triple champion Selvanther Sivakumar found another gear to narrowly grab the silver right at the end and notch a PB as well.

The SEA Games swim meet wrapped yesterday with a double podium finish for the Quah sisters, bringing Team Singapore's medal haul to a record 23 golds.๐ฅ
