One ate strictly vegan food
The other ate strictly meat and dairy products.

Cycling vs Running for fat loss (Science based approach)
π¦It's the START that STOPS most peopleπ¦

Verdict : Running is far more superior than cycling when it comes to fat loss.
But depending on your lifestyle, limitations etc, you get the best results when you are consistent (whether it's running or cycling).
So chose one that you can commit over a long period.
Long term consistency triumphs short term intensity!

π 2022 New Year resolution came early π
Background info.
I have not gone to a gym for almost 9 years.
And for the past three years, completely slacken to only occasional walk.
On 1st Oct 2021, I set myself a three months target.
01/10/21 - 01/01/22.
Only outdoor bodyweight exercise (and a kettlebell), no gym.
This is what I did, hopefully it's useful for all of you wanting to achieve a healthier lifestyle in 2022.
1. 30 minutes of daily exercise (for a start, just do anything).
Always remember - Long term consistency triumphs short term intensity!
But your choice of exercises should be progressively more challenging as you build up your fitness.
2. Pay attention to what you eat.
Focus on fibrous vegetables, protein (meat or vegetarian source) and healthy fats from unprocessed real food.
3. Yes, eating healthy can be expensive but choosing not to eat junk food is FREE!!!
4. Don't waste your time and money buying fancy equipments and supplements recommended by celebrities and fancy social media influencers π
5. Occasionally burying your head and suffer thru the workout is actually a good way to progress (trust me 100% on this).
6. Last but not least...
It's the START that STOPS most people !!!
Note: this is not a 100% strict diet. It's a scale down oversimplified version for beginners to at least get a head start.
