What a weekend we have had! Week started with sweltering heat and rain came at late Sunday to cool it off! On Saturday morning *Terminators* started their persuit well in chasing 228 but lost the steam in between with valiant efforts from Rams(52 off 22, 6x4, 3x6) & Merwyn (40 off 28, 1x4,3x6) *Terminators lost the game by 21 runs*. Afternoon our *All stars* faced our own *Warriors*, this time it was once again Saketh but this time with the bat (63 off 75 balls, 6x4) and ball (5-17-2) took the game away, almost. This time it was another Ram (36* of 30, 6x4, 1x6) who stood between and ensured *All Stars* to continue their winning momentum by *winning the game by a wicket*. Saturday score 1 Win - 2 Loss.

On Sunday, weather was still hot but the *Kings* were cool as cucumbers, Suresh lead from the front with scintillating (76* of 86, 6x4, 2x6) with ice cool Gopal (71 of 49, 7x4,1x6), *Kings chased 206/7 by 4 wickets to spare*. Where as in the afternoon, *Royals* folded their opponent to a paltry 104/10. Rain had enough of the day, interrupted when Royals were 92/3 and *awarded the game winning by 12 runs by DLS method*. So, Sunday score 2 Win - 0 Loss.

We have 2 games this weeknd, our Premier Knights open their season along with AllStars.

What a match we have had today! Colts vs IA Harriers Div 6 game! Won the toss and elected to field on a damp morning. Despite the dampness and IA boys did not lose any wicket, the team had their spirit high and kept the run rate less than 5 till 24 overs. But as expected, with bag full of wickets IA retaliated and pressed the pedal hard to posting 195 from 30 overs, the last 6 overs went for 70 runs.

Like how the 1st innings swung like pendulum from one side to other, Colts had a sedative progress till 15 overs left needing 135 runs from remaining 15 overs. Few quick wkts brought JC to the crease. Him (69 off 39 balls) and Rakesh (30 off 25) had explosive partnership and scored 70 odd runs in a quick time but sudden loss of JC didnt stop the momentum. With regular boundaries the target was within reach thanks to Rakesh and Raju partnership and colts reached the target with 3 balls to spare, Fantastic finish by little explosive Arnav with couple of useful boundaries.

What a chase, the team believed on them selves that propelled them to the much needed victory. Fantastic!

Oooh. New Season and so new beginning. We have grown up to 7 teams this year. New "Stars" has born. Fantastic lads!! Thanks for all your support!

Its been a while, what's happening around?

Knights (Premier league) has finished their season for this year in a not-so preferred fashion, due to some of the seniors were regularly not available which affected the balance of the team. Lot to think next year!

Royals (Div3) has finished upper middle of the table, the dream of finishing top 3 had a set back earlier this year with few unexpected losses but Royals has bounce back beautifully since then. Watchout this space.

Kings (Div5) like Royals, Kings too lost close matches and gifted away few should have won matches hence reeling in the middle of the table. They have posted some impressive wins too but let's see how they do in rest of the games.

Braves, too had some slice of bad luck & lost few more than what was expected but the young blood pulling their horses back. We have wait and see how far the recent good wins pushes to milddle and top of the table.

Colts & Warriors have done their part, testing out young bloods on the field. Warriors have been more successful than Colts. Let us see how colts roll their dices.

I will post some impressive individual performances sooooooon.
