You may have noticed a peculiar set up in the Yale-NUS College library recently; that’s our “Body ___” exhibition curated in collaboration with the Body-Ody Collective! It’s arranged in a circular manner with curtains bordering it to allow each person to engage more deeply with the material and because we talk about sensitive content such as: eating disorders, body image issues, ableism, privilege and race. Please exercise your own discretion when visiting the exhibition!
On your way out of the exhibit, feel free to use the chalk provided to write your reflections on the black flats. If you would like to leave us feedback, there are post-its and pens provided too! We hope you enjoy the exhibit, and more importantly, we hope we’ve helped to start a conversation about body in our campus.
