Get To Know Us | Have you been to our Revitalise class? Well, this would be a wonderful chance to get (re)acquainted with it!
The class type was borne in 2016, from the very desire to merge movement and stillness. In this class, the whole point is to find a sense of rejuvenation, to return to a state of balance.
For some, balance means more rest.
For other, balance means allowing more dynamism.
Whatever you need, there is something for you. And go ahead, maximise the opportunity to explore with our 5 class bundle promo at $99 which you can share with your friends!

Save this, share this and more importantly, to do these poses ❤️
Family | This chaotic picture is nothing but all love. Here’s who is in a headstand. She’s a long time student of Yoga+ and decided to do her YTT last year.
You may have seen her on the roster as a substitute instructor for a few classes. And that’s her family beside her - husband, mom and sis!
This picture was taken over the weekend to commemorate the rare occasion where all of them are in a class together.
It’s beautiful to see that beyond flexibility, strength and whatever else, yoga brings people together to create shared memories ❤️
Time to create yours! Find your tribe and bring them for a class or two. Our class bundles are shareable for this very reason - to foster relationships.
Go check out the bundles on sale in the next slide! No time to waste cos it is for a limited run only.
What’s Going On | In a nutshell, we have 3 things to look out for!

Healthy Monday | Kickstart your week with a home cook, easy to prep meal!
Save this so that you can refer to it when you have the time to whip up something.
Remember, yoga goes beyond the mat! It can find its way to the kitchen too:)
Meet Nicholas and Suffian | When we started the studio in 2016, we had a men-only class to encourage guys, by creating a safe space to practise without judgments.
Thankfully, yoga has gained much traction since then that guys doing yoga is now commonplace. ❤️
Yoga holds space for all types of men.
Nicholas (one of our earlier YTT grads) is our resident male yoga teacher who has the gentlest of souls, has amazing tatts, and a strong practice.
Suffian on the other hand holds a tornado within. He is disruptive in a good way, surprisingly extroverted and has a gentler yoga practice.
Regardless, men are welcome to our classes and our YTT. Did you know that traditional yoga was designed only for men? Obviously this have changed but this is one of the things we discuss in YTT - the development of yoga and societal norms.
Reach out to us to know more or check the link in our bio for the YTT program:)
17 Feb to 5 May 2024 | Weekends only | 8am - 330pm
Teacher Training | This picture somehow gives total 90’s chic! And they pulled it off successfully.
These amazing ladies have formed a friendship during the teacher training program and it is very heartening to see them maintaining that bond.
When choosing a teacher training program, what do you prioritise?
NEW TO YOGA | 17 days since the start of the year!
For those of us who are thinking of incorporating yoga into your movement, check out these classes.
For the uninitiated, we would recommend these four classes! As you gain more confidence and experience, you can try out a myriad of other classes that we offer in both studios.
To help you kickstart your program, here are three things to remember:
• Do not compare with the person beside you.
• Leave your ego, worries and expectations before stepping on the mat
• Be respectful and listen to your body. It knows what it can or cannot do for now!
Use the promo code [ 2024YOGA ] to avail 10% discount off our 5 and 10 class bundles!
2024 | One of the reasons resolutions do not work is the way it is being crafted - it has to be written as goals with accountable markers.
When it comes to resolutions around yoga, it has to cover more than the achievements of yoga poses. Hopefully this will help to create a more holistic, sustainable, achievable set of resolutions for 2024.
If Teacher Training is on your list of resolutions this year, check out our link in the bio! Or you can just comment YTT and I will personally reach out with more info!
#2024
Beyond The Mat | It is no surprise that a lot of yoga practitioners are very mindful of what they eat. Perhaps, you might hear them talking about healthy food, chia seeds, quinoa etc…
(PS: We are not going down the road of being vegan VS non-veganism!)
Once we acknowledge yoga is more than simply poses, it is only natural that the next significant aspect of our lives - FOOD - gets yogi-fied too.
What better way to kickstart 2024 than with mindful eating. Here is the first, and very manageable, recipe to begin this journey with us!
2024 is going to be a lot more sharing of yoga knowledge, both on the mat and off!
See it, save it, share it.
Love,
Yoga+ Team
2023 | We made it through another year!
With the economic challenges in the market and more movement options for everyone, this year has proven to be a good rollercoaster mix of excitement, frustration, euphoria and worry!
But all is well. We take each moment as they come and we can’t be more excited for 2024. It will come with its fair share of challenges but we are ready to take them on.
Let’s celebrate our hits and reflect on our misses. To all of you who have come through our doors for a class, a workshop or training, thank you! We hope to continue serving you in 2024.
With love,
Yoga+ Team
With 2023 coming to an end, most of us are looking for something to end the year with aplomb! Choose your adventure ❤️
30 Dec | 1030am | Somerset studio
YTT | A good mix of chaotic fun + deep learning.
Our final batch of 2023 YTT participants has graduated. It was a wild ride to get here and we are proud to see all of them grow.
In the next few weeks, they will be conducting community classes. These classes are meant to give them real-world experience of teaching in a public class!
Classes are $10 each and money raised will be donated to charity of our choice. Or if you would like to use your class bundle, you can do that too!

The YTT dates for 2024 is out! There will be a price revision come 1 Jan 2024 so if you are keen to join us, make the commitment now ❤️
Check out our website or dm us here for more info!
Personal Growth | What does that look like for you in yoga?
Unlike other sports, yoga has little (if not none at all) quantifiable, measurable targets.
Growth perhaps is feeling that you are getting more flexible, or the achievement in executing a particular pose, or gaining calmness and clarity in thoughts.
It will inevitably be different for everyone.
Having the right intention and reason though is extremely crucial to the longevity of your practice.
So here’s a question we usually pose to our YTT students — “Why do you practise yoga?”
Can’t decide which class to attend? Let us help you!
If you like your yoga strong like your black coffee in the morning, we recommend these classes: Flow+, Power, CardioBarre, and YogaSculpt.
Our bodies are intelligent enough to adapt to the environment.
And what this means is you have to provide your body different ways to move in order to experience growth!
Let us know what works for you!

Happy 7th birthday to us… and thank YOU for supporting us! We won’t be here without you ❤️

Bring your friend along and introduce them to the rabbit hole that is Yoga+ classes.
Modern Meditation | To many, meditation brings to mind a person in a seated pose, with eyes closed and serenity is washed over his/her face.
Well, it is true but there are also forms of meditation that you can do while hiking, on your daily commute and even right before you sleep.
Meditation has never been about calmness. It is an awareness of your emotions and everything that’s happening. That awareness exudes calmness.
Join our cofounder, tomorrow in our Somerset studio as he leads you through yin stretches and tea meditation as part of the that is ongoing now.
If it isn’t explicit enough, everyone is invited. There is no prerequisite.
Interested? Check out our link in the bio to book the last three slots!
Inclusivity | Everyone is welcome. No exceptions.
Our studio doors open wide and you can come as you are. We provide a non-judgmental safe space for you to find your own pace in your practice.
With our friends celebrating pride this month, we would like to take a step further by celebrating diversity.
Everyone is different and we embrace that!
If you need to hear this, we love you. Unconditionally.

Mindful Living Series | It is as much about what you eat and how you eat.
In our day and age, we have access to nutritionists, clinical dieticians and health professionals to guide to eat according to what our bodies need.
In Yoga, and Eastern traditions, the guidance lies in how you eat the food that’s laid in from of you.
And so it is interesting to see how we merge these together and find something as beautiful as mindful eating.
Here are 3 simple ways to eat your next meal:
🥘 Notice your food before you eat. Connect with all your senses, not just the sight.
🥘 Notice how different foods make you and your body feel.
🥘 Treat eating as a sacred activity where you focus solely on it.
Try it out! And we want to throw in one more — try chewing your food 28 times before swallowing!
Go ahead, let us know how the experience is!
Midweek Reminder | Chaos can always be turned around, with a simple reframing of the mind.
Here are three ways to turn chaos to peace:
🕯️A morning ritual, whatever it may be.
🍁Surround oneself in nature to replenish the body and the soul
🧘🏻♀️Cultivate awareness of breath during commute
How do you find peace? Or rather how do you CREATE opportunities for peace?
Looking forward | Based on your feedback, we’ve got 3 programs coming up!
1️⃣ Discovery program — designed as a really short, bite-sized course to learn about yoga asanas. What’s important is understanding that alignment is negotiable.
Imagine someone telling you that the way you run is wrong… as opposed to giving pointers on how to make your running more efficient.
That’s what the discovery program is about — empowering you with knowledge.
Join Sabrina as she leads this program, in our Pagoda Studio. Bianca and Suffian will guest teach during this program.
The first program will be on 29th & 30th July.
2️⃣ Handstand Course — this is our first 6 session course that is progressive and systematic. You will learn the techniques in a safe and controlled manner.
Join Bryan as he leads you through mastering handstands! It happens every Monday evening.
3️⃣ YTT — this is our signature staple program conducted by Bianca and Suffian. We have seen so many batches and it is without a doubt life-changing!
You will learn more than just the physical practice but also other aspects like breathing, the history, and anatomy of the human body.
Our last batch for 2023 starts in Sept! Join us to enjoy the super early bird pricing!

If life is a series of small, incremental changes in perpetuity, then we must not be surprised that our yoga practice would evolve and change.
Hear from our co-founders…
: “I used to love going for a super strong practice. And I would feel accomplished only when I feel sore the next day. These days, I crave for balance — movement, stretch and breath. I need moments of quiet in my practice.”
g: “I have a lot on my plate at the moment but I relish moving! Every moment alive is a mini celebration. And so now, I crave for a practice that challenges me but still has an element of mindfulness.”
We have classes that focuses on connecting your breath to movement, niche classes that help you learn new skills, and classes that definitely make you break a sweat.
Join us for a session especially since we have an ongoing sale that ends on Sunday!

Love it or hate it, this yoga pose is here to stay!

For those interested, we have 2 relevant classes:
• Intro to arm balance and Inversions
• Arm balance + Invert
