Hello Followers of the SHFA an update about the previous post about the incident on francis plain. As the Committee has not reached a verdict yet the two players involved will be able to play. Until a decision has been finalised.

The SHFA Committee are aware of the incidents that happened over the weekend at francis plain and they are being dealt with.

Further update will come after the issues have been resolved

IMPORTANT NOTICE: A change to this week's schedule of football games are as follows.

There will be no Saturday game this week. Instead it will be played on Sunday at 11:30 Intergalactic vs La Verdé. Linesmen to be supplied by Fugees and rovers.

The games originally scheduled for Sunday will go ahead as usual.

Reason for Rescheduling is the St Helena Cricket Association has respectfully asked if they could use the field for their Umpire Training. And after speaking to football team captains and Committee Members, we agreed on having three games on sunday. Allowing St Helena Cricket Association to use the field.

SHFA Committee would like to confirm that football will go ahead this weekend on Francis plain. With the start of week 2 fixtures.

The St Helena Football Association Committee would like to advise there will be no football on Francis Plain this week. This is due to the playing field still not being suitable to play on. It is still slushy with small puddles of water in areas.

We hope for better weather so we can continue with the league this coming weekend.

We will move on to Round 2 fixtures so we can get as many games on the weekend as possible. We will organise when to play the remaining 2 games of the first round.

The Annual General Meeting of the St Helena Football Association will take place at the Community Centre at 7:00 p.m. on Monday 16th June 2025.
We would like to invite anyone interested in promoting and developing football on St Helena, together with representatives from any teams interesting in entering this year’s competitions to attend the meeting.
As a registered charity, this meeting is an essential requirement and we would encourage as many people as possible to attend.
