A photoshoot again after a long time. This time with Bane Milošević for his Luft Stories, which you can find on Instagram. Bane showed up at just the right moment, as I’m launching the Noordung relaunch, in which we’ll produce a special series of 25 bikes and lay new foundations for this bold and incredible project. So alongside Noordung, I’m also appearing in this shoot - its founder and spiritual father. The guy who will personally sign and deliver each of those 25 bikes. Because that’s just what fathers do. We believe in our children more than anyone else in the world, and we’re ready to do anything for them. Even die.

We’ve been waiting a long time to write this.

Over the past few years, many people have asked whether Noordung would ever return. Today, we can finally say: Noordung is back.

After more than a decade of development, countless highs and lows, and a year and a half of silence, it’s time to begin a new chapter.

Over the coming months, we will build a limited edition of 25 individually numbered bicycles. This will be the first production run of Noordung’s new era.

To give this new beginning the strongest possible foundation, these first bicycles will be offered under especially favorable conditions compared to their previous retail price.

NOORDUNG SUCCESSFULLY VALIDATED BY CLIMATE-KIC

Noordung has recently completed a successful collaboration with Climate-KIC, Europe’s leading platform for climate innovation, operating under the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Under the mentorship of their expert team, we developed a Climate Impact Forecast – an in-depth analysis of the carbon impact of our product – which has now been officially validated and approved by Climate-KIC.

The validation process confirmed that the Noordung product has a significant environmental impact, with the potential to reduce emissions by -1.1 thousand tonnes of CO₂ equivalent per year – the equivalent of planting 50,845 trees annually.

We are grateful to the Climate-KIC team for their outstanding mentorship and the opportunity to deepen our understanding of carbon footprint assessment, as well as to discover new avenues for further optimizing our product with sustainability in mind.

We hope that this validated environmental potential will also resonate with (angel) investors who share our vision for the future of urban mobility – clean, smart, and responsible.
