The Marampa Mines Women’s Premier League Board wishes to express our deepest concern regarding the unfortunate accident involving the Koya Queens team on their way to Kenema for the Week 3 match against Kahunla Queens.

We are grateful to report that no lives were lost. However, several players and officials sustained serious injuries, and our thoughts are with them as they receive medical care.

The League Board is closely monitoring the situation and will provide all necessary support to the affected team and their families during this difficult time. We urge everyone to keep the players and officials in their prayers and to prioritise their health and recovery above all else as we have.

We would like to inform Kahunla Queens and the general public that the fixture for match week 3 against Koya Queens has been postponed until further notice.

We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
