*Kaffu Bullom Football Association Executive Holds First Meeting,Unveils Development Agenda*

The newly elected Kaffu Bullom Football Association (KaBFA) executive has held its first official meeting at the Lungi Gate Way Hotel with members, outlining strategic plans aimed at developing the game and strengthening key sectors of football administration.

During the meeting, the Secretary General Abu Bakar Sidique Kamara gave an overview of the association's commitment to grassroots football development, capacity building for referees and commentators to improve professionalism and match standards, and educational initiatives to support, team managers and players on and off the pitch.

In the spirit of unity, the new Chairman Andrew Abu Bakar Kamara and his Vice Komrabai Komson Kamara emphasized the need to bring everyone on board, including members of the outgoing executive, to ensure continuity, harmony, and collective growth of the game.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives of the Kaffu Bullom Referees Association Alex Aribo and the newly Chairman for the Kaffu Bullom Sport Commentators and Analyst Association Philip AO George underscored the importance of supporting their respective organizations, noting that strong, well-structured bodies are essential to the overall development and credibility of football in the community.

Salieu A. Sesay who represented both the district and regional football bodies commended the new executive for starting in a very footing with it members aimed at developing the game in Lungi. He further noted that engagement with members and providing regular support for training with referees and others will enhance standards in the game. SAS concluded by admonishing the general membership to fully support the new leadership in their quest to develop football in the chiefdom.

Members welcomed the inclusive approach and development agenda, expressing optimism that collaboration among all stakeholders will drive sustainable progress and elevate community football to higher standards.

The new KaBFA executive launch the Kaffu Bullom Sections FA Cup gala that will be organized during Ramadan.

*North West Region Football Association Releases First Division Super 10 Fixtures, Sets Pace for Other Regions*

The Northwest Region Football Association has officially released the fixtures for the First Division Super 10 Tournament, setting the pace for other regions to follow in the organisation and promotion of grassroots football.

The tournament, which features ten top First Division clubs, brings together teams from three districts (Port Loko, Kambia & Karene) in the region, all of which are adequately represented. Football stakeholders say the competition is a major boost to unity, talent development, and competitive football at the community level.

Competitions Director in the NWRFA pointed out that, the Super 10 is designed to improve the standard of play and provide a clear pathway for clubs and players to progress into the national division one league and subsequently to the premier league.

This competition will raise the level of football in our region and serve as a model for other regions, Chairman of the association Abdul Osman Turay (AOT) stated.We are proud that three districts are fully represented, showing the strength and depth of football across our region.

Fans have welcomed the move, describing it as timely and well organised. Community leaders have also urged supporters to come out in large numbers to cheer their teams and maintain peace and discipline throughout the tournament.

With fixtures now released, clubs are intensifying preparations ahead of the opening matches, as excitement continues to build across the region.

Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom Football Association is set to hold its election today at the United Brethren Academy (UBA) Lungi Town, even though the incumbent Musa Konko Kamara has withdrawn from the race. This development adds an unexpected twist to the election process, potentially leaving the field open for other candidates or new leadership to emerge.

Taimu Bangura put on outstanding performance in our Saturday's match against Bo Rangers football club in the ongoing Leone Rock Premier League.
The Bullom Stars right-back has been featured in thirteen Leone Rock Premier League games this season. He started the game against Bo Rangers and played the full 90 minutes plus additional time, as his performance in that match made him to be our man of the match.

Taimu Bangura impressed both in defence and attack throughout the match, and his most telling contribution came on the first half when he hit the cross bar with a thunder footed rock.

The Bullom Stars right back struck a short which was as close to perfection as you are likely to see.

The right-back position in soccer is a pivotal role that demands a unique combination of defensive prowess and attacking flair. A proficient right back can significantly impact a team's performance, making it a position of great importance, and Bangura has possessed all those qualities making his role significant in our Bullom Stars team.

Additionally, Bangura posse strength and stamina to endure the physical demands of the game, especially during high-intensity situations.
One of the key aspects of Taimu Bangura is mastering various defensive techniques and strategies. Which includes, understanding the merits of man-making and zonal making.
Bangura's contribution in the squad is great and we are bless to have him in our team.
