Mogbwemo Queens have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Marampa Mines Women’s Premier League following a successful crowning ceremony held today in Bo City.
The historic occasion brought together football stakeholders, government officials, fans, and representatives of our proud sponsors, Marampa Mines, in celebration of another successful and exciting season of women’s football in Sierra Leone.
The ceremony was graced by the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Mr. Babadi Kamara, whose presence reaffirmed the Association’s unwavering commitment to the growth and empowerment of women’s football across the country.
Also in attendance were the Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, the Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, and the Executive Director of the National Sports Authority, Mohamed Alphaka Conteh Esq., whose presence further highlighted the government’s continued support for the development of women’s football in Sierra Leone.
Congratulations to Mogbwemo Queens on a remarkable achievement and a truly deserved league title after an outstanding campaign.

The Marampa Women’s Premier League Board has officially presented a mock cheque of 250 million old Leones to 2025/2026 league runners-up Ram Kamara Football Club in recognition of their remarkable performance during the season.
The presentation ceremony was conducted by the Board Chairperson, Honorable Mariatu Pesima, who commended the club for their dedication, discipline, and outstanding contribution to the growth of women’s football throughout the campaign.
Ram Kamara Football Club finished the season as worthy runners-up after an impressive display in the 2025/2026 Marampa Women’s Premier League.
