A delegation led by Syrian Foreign Minister Asad Shaibani has arrived in Paris, the French capital, where they will hold talks with an Israeli delegation led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's chief of staff. The Somali President, speaking to Al Arabiya TV, said that the Federal Government is open to the use of military force to prevent Israel's desire to recognize Somaliland, and to restore the unity of the country in those areas. "The use of force is an option before us if national security is threatened," said President Hassan Sheikh, without elaborating on where and how a military operation could be carried out while Somaliland does not have a government military presence.
