THE POSTPONEMENT OF AWEIL SOUTH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION ELECTION

TO: All Registered Clubs, candidates, Players, Coaches, Referees, and the General Public of Aweil South County

The Aweil Football Association hereby announces the postponement of the Aweil South Football Association election, originally scheduled for Saturday, 30th May 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Church UTS, Malek Alel.

This decision is due to the fact that the Secretary of the Aweil Football Association Mr. Jamal Abdallah is currently in Rumbek attending the South Sudan National League with El Madeira Aweil FC.
If El Madeira Aweil FC qualifies for the next stage of the South Sudan National League, the election shall remain postponed until after their participation concludes.
If El Madeira Aweil FC is eliminated the election shall be conducted earlier than the original date.

A new date and time for the election will be communicated immediately once the outcome of El Madeira Aweil FC’s qualification match is confirmed.

THE ELECTION PROCESS AND NOMINATION DEADLINE – AWEIL SOUTH FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

TO:All Registered Clubs, Women Football, Players, Coaches, Referees, and the General Public of Aweil South County .

The Aweil Football Association, shall conduct the election of the Aweil South Football Association Executive Committee.

Election Details.
Date: Saturday, 30th May 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: St. Peter Church UTS, Malek Alel

Clubs are required to submit nominations of candidates for the various Executive Committee positions.
Saturday, 23rd May 2026
Late submissions will not be accepted. Nomination forms and procedures will be issued to all registered clubs.
Only clubs and members duly registered with Aweil South Football Association and in good standing are eligible to nominate, vote, and stand for election.
To elect a new Executive Committee to manage, organize, and develop football activities in Aweil South County in accordance with the statutes and regulations of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF).
All participants shall uphold peace, transparency, and sportsmanship. Any violations will be handled under SSFF disciplinary codes.

THE EXPIRY OF PLAYER CONTRACTS – FOUR SEASONS 01/06/2022 TO 01/06/2026

TO:All Clubs, Players, Coaches, and Team Officials.

The Executive Committee of Aweil South Football Association hereby issues this Official Notice:

1. All player contracts signed on 01 June 2022 for a period of four seasons have officially expired on 01 June 2026.
2. Upon expiry all affected players are free agents and may negotiate and sign with any club under ASFA regulations.
3. Clubs wishing to retain any player must issue a new contract or renewal agreement in writing before the 2026/2027 season registration.
4. All clubs and players must settle any outstanding financial or disciplinary matters arising from the expired contracts prior to new registrations.

Malek Alel , Wednesday 13th May 2026

Good evening leaders, members, and the entire football community of Aweil South.

Today, I stand before you with the authority of the Electoral Committee to officially announce the process for the election of the new Executive Committee of Aweil South Football Association, Malek Alel.

First, the candidates who have submitted valid nominations

For President, we have four sons of Aweil South:
1. Morise Ateny Bol, nominated by Malekdit FC CYP
2. John Garang Aguot, nominated by Holy Family FC
3. Bol Atem G*i, nominated by Malek Star FC
4. Deng Thel, nominated by Panthony United FC

For Finance Secretary, we have :-
1. Anguei Chan Anguei, nominated by All Nation FC

Second, the positions still open:
We have no nominations yet for Vice President and Secretary General.

Therefore, the Committee officially calls on all qualified members from all registered clubs across Aweil South County to come forward and submit your applications before 16 May 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Third, and very important for unity:
The Committee has resolved that all Payams within Aweil South County that qualify shall be allowed to register their teams and participate fully in this election. No Payam will be left behind. Football belongs to all of us in Paliet.

The election date will be announced immediately after

I urge every club, every Payam, and every youth who loves football to take this process seriously. A complete and legitimate board is the only way Aweil South Football Association will gain full recognition and support from SSFA and our partners.

Let us conduct this election with peace, respect, and honesty.
