📢 JUR RIVER INTER-PAYAMS PEACE TOURNAMENT | OFFICIAL UPDATE

Meeting Between the Organizing Committee and Payam Presidents

The Organizing Committee yesterday held a productive meeting with the Presidents of the eight participating Payams to discuss preparations for the upcoming Jur River Inter-Payams Peace Tournament.

The meeting reaffirmed the collective commitment to ensuring a successful tournament that promotes peace, unity, reconciliation, and brotherhood among the people of Jur River County.

Resolutions of the Meeting

✅ All stakeholders committed to working together to ensure the successful organization of the tournament in line with its core objectives of promoting peace and unity.

✅ Each participating Payam shall contribute USD 400 as the official tournament participation fee.

✅ The official tournament draw will take place on Sunday, 19th July 2026. The official opening date of the tournament will also be announced on the same day.

✅ A professional, independent, and neutral Technical Committee will be constituted to oversee all technical aspects of the competition.

✅ Each of the eight Payams shall nominate one representative to serve on the Tournament Organizing Committee.

✅ All Payams are encouraged to continue training and adequately prepare their teams ahead of the commencement of the tournament.

Together, we are building more than a football tournament—we are strengthening peace, unity, and friendship across Jur River County.

The Kuajiena Payam Football Team in Juba has officially purchased 20 pairs of jerseys as part of its preparations for the upcoming Jur River County Inter-Payams Peace Tournament.

under leadership of the beloved President Mr Aldo Gok Akot

The new jerseys will boost the team's readiness and morale as the players continue training with determination and confidence ahead of the competition.
