Bentiu Peace Tournament – Opening Ceremony Postponed

The Bentiu Local Football Association (BLFA) would like to inform the public and all participating teams that the scheduled opening ceremony match between Soon FC and Upper Nile FC could not take place today, 1st June 2025, due to heavy rainfall.

As a result, the opening ceremony has been officially postponed to Monday, 3rd June 2025, and will take place at Bentiu Stadium with kickoff at 3:00 PM.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support for the Bentiu Peace Tournament.

BLFA Referees Refresher Training Ahead of Tournament Kickoff

Today, the referees under the Bentiu Local Football Association (BLFA) conducted a refresher training session in preparation for tomorrow’s official opening ceremony of the Bentiu Peace Tournament.

This session aimed to ensure that all match officials are well-prepared, coordinated, and aligned with the tournament rules and standards, promoting fairness and professionalism throughout the event.

We commend the dedication of our referees and wish all teams a successful and peaceful tournament!

BREAKING NEWS: The Steering Committee
Of Bentiu LFA under the leadership of New appointed president Mr. Lat Tungwar have successfully distributed football equipments to all First Division Clubs in Bentiu ahead of the Bentiu peace Tournament that will begin on 1st June.

Each team received:

▪️20 pairs of football boots
▪️1 full set of team jerseys (18 pieces)
▪️20 pieces of shinguards
▪️24 pairs of football socks
