Kindly disregard the FALSE information circulating online claiming that Kur Ajing Ater and Achaiwiir promised cash rewards (1,000$ each player and 50,000$) and a bus to Abyei Football Team if they win against Twic Football in the Round of 16.
This is pure propaganda.

Clarification Statement from Abyei Interim Sport Committee – Juba
This is to address the ongoing misinformation regarding Mr. Rech Ador Rech, Chairperson of the Abyei Interim Sport Committee-Juba. While Mr. Rech is currently in Abyei, he has fully delegated his responsibilities to the Secretary General, Mr. Francis Ring Dhol, and the committee team in Juba.
Unfortunately, some individuals linked to Abyei Elite Sports are working to disrupt sports activities in Juba despite this clear delegation of authority. Their actions do not align with the committee's goals and community at large, especially considering the limited time before our first matches.
We assure the public that there is still time to prepare the team, the opening game (Jur River vs Tonj North) on 31st July 2025 is mainly to secure the Juba Stadium, and the rest of the games will follow after the current tournaments (Lakes, Warrap, and Aweil) conclude, otheries the fixture on when the rest of games will be played are not yet even reveal but that’s not the case but for clarification purposes.
As much as we need everyone’s support, please support us in good faith but not in a way it discriminates us.
For any financial related support, please contact:
Mrs. Nyanaguek Ngor Mijok (Finance Secretary) at 0925 538 185
Mr. Francis Ring Dhol (Secretary General) at 0929 999 623
Thank you to all who have supported us so far.

Subject: Response on Abyei Team Participation in BCPT
Dear President of BCPT and Counties’ Representatives,
Thank you for your continued commitment to fairness and inclusivity in the Bhar El Ghazal Counties Peace Tournament.
We acknowledge that Abyei Special Administrative Area comprises five counties (Alal, Rumamer, Ameth-Aguok, Mijak, and Abyei Municipality), all eligible to participate in BCPT. However, due to a limited number of players available in Juba and lack of logistic capacity to bring players from Abyei, Nairobi, Kampala or anywhere, we couldn’t fully represent all five counties or suggested two. While there are plans to expand representation in future, it may not be possible for this edition.
Additionally, in line with FIFA rules, adjusting team numbers or group placements after the official draw compromises fairness and transparency for all teams.
Therefore, while we appreciate the idea of adding one more team from Abyei to complete the group structure, we kindly suggest this will be considered for future tournaments.
We thank the BCPT leadership and all county representatives for their efforts to uphold fairness and unity through sports.
Best regards,
Francis Ring Dhol
