It was derby match today between Gogrial East and Gogrial West

In a tense and heated match, Gogrial West County thrashed their neighbors Gogrial East 1-0 to book their place in the next round. The only goal of the game was enough to decide this Bahr El Ghazal Countries Tournament clash and send the fans into wild celebrations.

With this victory, Gogrial West has officially qualified for the Round of 16 in the BCT. The boys showed resilience, unity, and belief to get the job done when it's mattered most.

Despite a strong fight, Gogrial East has officially been eliminated from the ongoing tournament. Their BCT 2026 journey comes to an end today

The atmosphere at New Bongo Playground was electric. Fans from both counties turned up in full force, with drums, chants, and colors filling the stadium. But in the end, it was Gogrial West’s day.

Gogrial West, popularly known as the Green Family,suffered a tough 1-0 loss against Rumbek East in the ongoing Bahr El Ghazal Countries Tournament (BCT) 2026

The only goal of the match came from an unfortunate own goal by Gogrial West’s last defender.
