The South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) Competition Committee is officially inviting all affiliated Football Associations to submit their requests to host the Zonal Stage of the upcoming 2025/2026 National League Championship.

This is a premier opportunity for associations to showcase their organizational excellence and help drive the growth of football across South Sudan.

📋 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

Associations interested in hosting must submit a formal request detailing the following:

• Venues: Proposed match venues, including seating capacity and available training facilities.
• Logistics: Comprehensive plans for accommodation and security arrangements.
• Operations: Evidence of organizational capacity to manage match operations effectively.
• Community: Plans for engagement to boost fan attendance and tournament support.

• Deadline for Hosting Requests: 15 April 2026
• Tournament Kick-off: 1 May 2026

All submissions should be directed to the Competitions Committee. The SSFF will review all applications and notify successful host associations.

CAF is set to replace African Nations Championship with a brand new structure called the AFRICAN NATIONS LEAGUE.

Here’s what it means 👇🏾

1. African Nations League – CONTINENTAL

- Played every year
- Begins in regional zones
- Best teams qualify for a final tournament in one host country
- ALL players eligible (including Europe-based stars)

2. African Nations League – PAN-AFRICAN

- Played every 2 years
- Same format as Africa Cup of Nations (24 teams)

3. AFCON stays but changes

- Now played every 4 years
- Becomes Africa’s elite, flagship competition
