The D**g Mabior Sports Association under the leadership of Deng Manyuat Adim has appointed Peter Akol Ayok as Head Coach of the D**g Mabior Football Team and Agar Manyuat Adim as Coach of the Volleyball Team.

PRESS STATEMENT
22nd DECEMBER 2025 – JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN

The leadership of CAUCUS Forum and the Caucus Sports and Cultural Olympics (CASCO) wishes to announce to the public, wrestling fans and our partners that the final wrestling competition of CASCO 2025 between Awerial County and Yirol East County has been suspended until further notice.

The decision to suspend the final wrestling match has been necessitated by the disagreements over the venue of the wrestling of the remaining wrestlers between Awerial Wrestling Association and Yirol East Association. We are currently engaging the leadership of the two associations to amicably resolve this matter as soon as we can.

We will communicate as the next date and venue of the final CASCO Wrestling Tournament 2025 to the general public, wrestling fans and associations as soon as these disagreements are resolved amicably.

CASCO aims to promote peace, unity, rich cultural heritage and celebrate diversity of the people of South Sudan. We provide a platform to promote tolerance, unity, respect and understanding among wrestlers, fans, communities and the people of South Sudan.

We deeply regret inconvenience caused by this sudden and unplanned suspension of five wrestling contests in CASCO Finals 2025!
