The Senior Presidential Envoy, Adut Salva Kiir, accompanied by the President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA), Francis Amin, paid a morale-boosting visit to the Bright Stars during their preparations at the Juba National Stadium.

Jamus SC Wraps Up Pre-Season
South Sudanese champions Jamus SC have completed their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, recording promising wins in Ethiopia before falling short in Tanzania.
The Juba-based side set up camp in Hawassa, Ethiopia from early July, where they engaged in intensive training and registered victories in at least two friendly matches against local Premier League clubs. The sessions focused on fitness, tactical drills, and testing squad depth, with several new signings getting game time.
On 30 July, Jamus SC faced their toughest test in Dar es Salaam against the DR Congo CHAN national team, losing 3–1 despite a first-half equalizer from Shabban Kagayo. The match exposed defensive lapses but gave the side valuable international exposure.
Club officials say the pre-season has been successful in boosting fitness and team cohesion, as Jamus SC now turn their focus to the South Sudan Premier League kick-off and the CAF Champions League preliminary rounds.
