CONGRATULATIONS, AND APPRECIATION MESSAGE.

On my behalf, and behalf of Betoi Payam’s Football Team Board of Directors, allow me to congratulate Panliet Payam, Aleknyinweng for becoming the Champion of Yirol West County Inter-Payams Football Tournament 2025-2026. This victory show your testament to teamwork and resilience. It is a well-deserved victory.

On the other hand, hard luck to The Landlord, Geng-Geng Payam. You had invincible performances throughout the whole of this tournament. Victory is all about luck or/and turn. And because this is not your turn, your performances only showed that success is not about winning only, but it is also about striving for dignity. Next time better!

This successful end of the tournament is not only achieved by the YLFA, but it was through collective commitment from all payams to strengthening community bones through football. This is evidenced by the participation made by all payams. Through wrong doings from the supreme body — YLFA that almost halt the tournament, you uphold sportsmanship and remind the community of Yirol that football is not just a competition, but a celebration of togetherness. You put aside the messes and pardoned the tournament with a hope to celebrate your brothers at the end just like we are all doing. Regroup and come back strong next year.

I also want to pass my heartfelt appreciation to the sponsors of the tournament; morally and financially. Your efforts in standing firm to supporting this tournament is worth appreciable. Thank you so much for your tireless efforts 🙏.

Lastly, much appreciation to the management of YLFA headed by Makur Malual for their great work. Though your interest in appeasing individuals payams with your services is beyond everything, this little work can't be forgotten. Your management, YLFA is determined to shaping football in our county, but interest and strong-headedness will not allow you to get our YLFA to the other level. Interest can't allow respect for rules to prevail, and hence injustice can grow easily degrading your determination to your task. I would like to advise you on that; kill that interest and strong-headedness, and prioritizes fairness, transparency, and respect for rules. If you do this, you will be celebrated in Yirol.

As we conclude this year’s tournament, let us carry forward the lessons of sportsmanship, fairness, and community spirit. May the next year edition be stronger, more inclusive, and the beacon of unity in Yirol.

Our Captain and striker, Garang Anyak Garang has sealed a comeback and a win for his team, FC Union. He scored a late winning goal at 85' minutes to win the game (3-2) for his team.

TO MY DEAREST BELOVED COMMUNITY, BETOI PAYAM,

I am here to appreciate each and every one of you who supported us throughout the tournament. Your tireless support, both financially and morally, toward the progress of our Payam football team is well acknowledged. Despite the bad results we recorded, you never stopped supporting or abandoned the team. Thank you very much and continue supporting us in the next editions. We will one day make you proud.

On the other hand, regarding the dropped case, I would like to inform you that the management had no intention of betraying our community but trying to show the public that we were not very desperate for 3 points at all costs rather than right, as partially given by the Director of Sports, Youth and culture. The management dropped the case because the director granted us the right we were fighting for. And to the individuals who wanted us to follow our right until the end, I apologise to you on behalf of the management, for letting you down. Let's leave this as a warning to association. Next time is there.

TO MY PLAYERS,

Thank you for the cooperation, respect and commitment you have shown to the public, both on and off the field. You also maintained full respect toward our own general management. Keep it up. You also performed well athough all the results of the games didn't always come in our favor. We all know this is just the beginning, next time will be better as you will be putting more efforts in training. I wish you all the best.

Thank you so much for cooperation. We have worked together well and this has to continue. I am sure that the small mistakes counted on us by the community will be corrected in the next tournaments.

To: Director of Culture, Youth and Sports

SUB: A call for the resumption of the Tournament

In reference to what transpired from the first complaint to the appeal, Betoi Payam was only after justice and that justice has partially been rendered by the Directorate for Youth, culture and sports. If justice is to be served and rule of law respected, Betoi Payam wouldn’t have been given a rematch but rather 3 points according to South Sudan general rules, article (80) and FIFA disciplinary codes but since the ruling was based on compromise and sympathy, we accepted the sympathy made by the directorate and were pleased that the law that was manipulated by YLFA has been traced

If surely YLFA accepted they were biased in their first ruling and apologized to Betoi Payam, we wouldn’t have appealed but because their ego and lack of transparency held them back and became indecisive about the case in question, we decided to fight for our right that was partially given in the final verdict.

Given how stagnant the tournament is right now and how it has changed the purpose of which it was formed, Betoi Payam has decided to give in their visible right for the sake of peace and progress and request both the biased YLFA and the Directorate that ruled by compromise and sympathy to continue with the tournament and gets back to the previous biased ruling and award 3 points to Aluakluak.
It is clear that Alueth Manyuon Madem has no connection with Aluakluak Payam and is ineligible to participate as stated in the first paragraph of the final verdict and as such Yirol West Inter-Payam’s tournament should continue without him as stipulated by the law.
sometimes, one sacrifices their rights for peace to reign. This decision took long because Betoi Payam was waiting for a call of the appeal made by Aluakluak Payam but since nothing is being done and something meant for peace is standing still, we call for the resumption of the tournament so the remaining matches continues.

If Betoi Payam gets a chance of qualifying after group matches, we will gladly continue to the next round and if there are no chances, we will exit in group stages and still be part of the tournament . This position letter should not be misconstrued for withdrawal. We will continue to be part of the tournament until the final game is played.

We didn’t mean to disobey the ruling made by the directorate but since the other party is not cooperating, we have wholeheartedly compromised the right we fought for, for the sake of peace.
