KFA Champions Youth Sports: Gogrial West and Tonj North Face Off in Warrap State Student Union Final.

WAU, SOUTH SUDAN — In a vibrant display of talent and unity, the Gogrial West FT and Tonj North FT this evening competed in a highly anticipated football final in which Green Family emerged champions. Both teams, representing the Warrap State student body at the University of Bahr el Ghazal, showcased exceptional sportsmanship and skill on the pitch.

The event was significantly bolstered by the Kuajok Football Association (KFA), which played a pivotal role in ensuring the tournament's success and the ongoing development of student athletics.

A Commitment to Excellence
The KFA’s involvement went beyond mere attendance. To honor the hard work of the student-athletes, the Association provided the championship trophy and committed to a substantial support package for the tournament’s future. Their pledges include:

Financial Support: A generous donation of SSP 300,000 to assist with administrative and operational costs.

Equipment: The provision of six (6) professional soccer balls dedicated to the upcoming second edition of the tournament.

Expertise: Ongoing technical support to help elevate the quality of play and fair play respectively.

Personal Leadership and Support
Adding to the momentum, Mr. Malueth Mayen Wol, representing the KFA, demonstrated personal dedication to the youth by contributing SSP 200,000 directly to the Organizing Committee. This contribution was vital in managing the logistics of the event and ensuring a smooth experience for both players and fans.

The KFA reaffirmed its core mission to promote sports wherever applicable, noting that such initiatives are essential for student morale and community building. By investing in these young athletes, the KFA aims to encourage students to balance their academic pursuits with physical health and teamwork.

South Sudan Football Federation celebrates 14 years of being a member of Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Kuajok Football Association proudly congratulates Nancy Adut, our own, who was formally licensed by FIFA as an International Referee late last year.

Following this achievement, Nancy from Kuajok has been called up for national duty to officiate in the South Sudan Premier League during the opening of the second leg of the 2025-2026 season. She officiated the match between Olympics FC (Renk) and Koryom FC (Bor), and she later took part in the fixture between Al Ghazal SC (Wau) and Lion Hunters FC (Yei).

Kuajok Football Association is extremely proud of Nancy’s steady progress and professionalism in her refereeing career and wishes her continued success at both national and international levels.

As a FIFA-licensed International Referee, she is now eligible for CAF appointments and other continental assignments as part of her professional duties.

We celebrate this milestone and remain confident that she will continue to represent Kuajok and South Sudan with excellence and integrity.
