Announcement: Upcoming Inter-Churches Football League in Tonj

Dear Facebook Community,

We are thrilled to announce the Inter-Churches Football League happening in Tonj this December! This event is a celebration of unity, sportsmanship, and fellowship among the churches in our community.

Start Date: will be announced

Final Match: once the games are started, we will fix the final date

Purpose of the League:

1. Foster Unity – Bring together youth from different churches and denominations to promote harmony and collaboration.

2. Tool for Evangelism – Use sports as a platform to share the Gospel and inspire the youth to live for Christ.

3. Encourage Healthy Competition – Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive engagement among the youth.

4. Build Relationships – Strengthen bonds between churches and create lasting friendships within the community.

5. Empower Youth – Give young people an opportunity to showcase their talents and build confidence through sports.

Expected Participants:

We are currently finalizing the list of participating teams, and their names will be posted soon after confirmation. The expected participants include:

Calvary Chapel Tonj

Anglican Independent

Grace Church

Episcopal Church of South Sudan Tonj

We are also awaiting confirmation from the Roman Catholic Church and the rest of the churches and we hope they will join this exciting initiative.
