After being officially selected by the Association to attend a CAF coaching course, he successfully completed all requirements and has been awarded the prestigious Coach Educator “C” Diploma by the Confederation of African Football.

WFA Organizing Committee fined and suspended Black Eagle FC Player Michael Lat from participating in official football activities for 1 year after breaking 2 chairs and engaging in unacceptable behaviors towards the referees during the match between Black Eagle FC and Uyanga FC on 15 March. This decision came after the same player was officially warned before related to similar behavior. His teammate Samuel Angelo was also warned for verbally insulting the referee and throwing empty water bottle at him.

فرضت اللجنة الإدارية لاتحاد واو لكرة القدم غرامة مالية علي لاعب (حارس) فريق الصقرالاسود، مايكل لات، وأوقفته عن مزاولة انشطه كروية رسمية لمدة عام، وذلك بعد أن قام بتحطيم كرسيين وتصرف بشكل غير لائق تجاه الحكام خلال مباراة فريقه ضد فريق أويانغا في 15 مارس/آذار. وجاء هذا القرار بعد أن سبق أن تلقى اللاعب نفسه إنذاراً رسمياً لسلوك مماثل. كما تم انذار زميله في الفريق، صامويل أنجيلو، بسبب إهانته اللفظية للحكم ورميته بقاروره مياه

As usual, Wau Football Association successfully hosted and concluded Group A SSD Cup with an exceptional organization. Congratulations to Yirol Dragon Stars for leading the group and representing Greater Bahr El Ghazal in the next round in Juba.

WFA hosted a 2-Days Talent ID Scouts Course attended by 40 Scouts from 6 Football Associations from Greater Bahr El Ghazal, including participants from Wau, Kuajok, Rumbek, Abyei Aweil, and Raja Football Associations. The Course is part of FIFA Talent Development Scheme support for SSFF.

Al Darajat Makes History with Semi-Final Spot After Dominant Aggregate Victory

In an exhilarating match at Juba National Stadium, Al Darajat secured their historic place in the semi-finals of the National South Sudan Cup 2025-2026. The encounter against Bentiu City Women ended in a goalless draw (0-0), but Al Darajat’s commanding 4-0 aggregate lead ensured their progression.

Though the match was tightly contested with neither team able to score, Al Darajat’s strong performances in earlier fixtures proved decisive, allowing them to advance confidently. This milestone highlights the team’s strength, resilience, and consistency throughout the tournament.
