Seven stars foot ball club

𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗛𝗜 𝗨-𝟮𝟬 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗

The Lamgabhi Inkhundla Under-20 Talent Search Initiative League is set to kick off this weekend, bringing together young footballers from the five imiphakatsi of Lamgabhi Inkhundla in the Manzini Region.

The league forms part of the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs’ Tinkhundla Talent Search Initiative, which allocated E20,000 to each Inkhundla to support community-based leagues and talent development efforts.

The competition features teams from Nhlulweni, Luhleko, Lamgabhi, Emhlangeni and Dvudvusini, providing young players with a platform to develop, compete and showcase their football talent.

The opening fixtures will be played at Lamgabhi Sports Ground on Saturday, 15 August and Sunday, 16 August 2026, with four matches scheduled on each day.

The initiative is expected to play an important role in identifying emerging talent while promoting youth engagement and creating opportunities for young footballers within the community.

Seven Stars forward Nhlanganiso “Mbhele” Shabangu, who plies his trade in the Usuthu (Bhunya) Promotion League, is set to begin an assessment with National First Division side Mankayane United.

The attacker has spent the past several weeks training with Premier League club Mbabane Swallows and has now secured another opportunity to showcase his abilities at NFD level.

Mbhele is among nine players shortlisted by Mankayane United following the club’s recent Mankayane United Tournament Cup, during which the team evaluated potential recruits.

The forward will aim to capitalise on this assessment and earn a spot in Mankayane United’s squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.
