Cancellation of May 2020 Events
It is with much regret that we are forced to cancel our May 2020 events.
The National Cancer Society of TCI Inc (NCS) advises that the events usually held annually in May in recognition of “All Cancer Awareness” will be CANCELLED due to the ongoing effects of COVID-19. The events include:
1. NCS Teeing ‘fore’ a Cure (Golf Scramble)
2. A Night for the Fight (Candlelight vigil and walk)
3. All Cancer Awareness Church Service
4. All other events which require group gathering
NCS has taken this tough decision in the best interest and safety of our volunteers, patients, members, participants and stakeholders. We recognise that we all must play a role in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic and as such do not think that the events would allow for the appropriate social distancing required to stem the tide of the virus. In addition, we recognise that COVID-19 will cause hardships, financial, social and otherwise and we do not wish to add to that.
NCS commits, however, to continue supporting our patients in the most appropriate ways.
We are hopeful that the COVID-19 threat will pass in the next few weeks to allow us to plan and execute our annual October and other events later in the year.
We encourage all to be responsible and comply with the many guidelines and regulations issued by both domestic and international health officials.
The NCS takes this opportunity to thank all its members, volunteers, sponsors and corporate partners for the years of support and we hope to see you all well in the post COVID-19 world.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all; stay safe and be Blessed.

Thank you to all our Players, Sponsors and Volunteers for making our 6th NCS "Teeing 'fore' a Cure" 2019 a resounding success.
With a field of 84 players we were disappointed that no one won the Kia Sportage (sponsored by Connolly Kia Motors) on the 8th hole...looking forward to giving it away next year.
