I never thought somewhere called The Dungeon would be my happy place. I was 5 minutes from home and 2 minutes from my nearest gym but I chose to drive into Shenton Way to go workout .fitness. It has some of the best equipment in the CBD and a fantastic community, where everyone is keen to see others succeed.

I got my first pension payment today so I guess I am now officially a pensioner and technically ‘old’ not quite sure where the last decade has gone but it’s certainly been a very happy one.
I was trying to keep my birthday lowkey but I am always blown away by the love and generosity of the people around me. I have a fridge full of cake, a bottle of sake and a bottle of scotch from the staff and clients and a whole bunch of hugs and good wishes.
My final clients of the day came to the session with a beer and chocolate for me and my long suffering wife reminded me over breakfast that having her is a gift in itself. 😂
A huge thank you to everyone for your birthday wishes, you’ve all made an old man very happy!

It’s good to be back in my happy place this week after 3 weeks overseas.
The vibe and atmosphere at .fitness is awesome and the equipment is high end.
I had the added bonus this morning of being first in so I get to control the sound system, sorry not sorry to the other folks who had to put up with a playlist that had nothing on it from the past 2 decades.

Training at gravity gym in Koh Samui, has to be the best view from a gym I’ve been to.
Beautiful location and stunning views all day long, sunset was spectacular!

The inaugural meeting of the Ang Mo chapter of the has had a limited turn out despite the backdrop.

It’s not everyday that I get to meet a man half my age with the same taste in music! But is that guy, in addition to him being an excellent trainer. It’s always fun training .fitness in Shenton House truly a hidden gem of a gym in the CBD. *t

It was great to meet today at the pop up at Funan. Also managed to order my Cai Fan social club T-shirt.

Had a fantastic week diving with and the icing on the cake was the today on my last dive!

Huge thank you to and for bringing the legend that is to Singapore. It was a pleasure to hear his story and meet him in person. I’m looking forward to reading his book on my upcoming trip to the UK.
