I am Shanae-

I am American 🇺🇸 who has been living in Cambodia🇰🇭 for 8years with my family. I can vouch with my experience in learning about this culture, government and people!

Cambodia’s heart is kind and selfless. Sometime annoyingly so!! Many times even if you offer them something, they will reject your kindness. They are strong, resilient, but they work hard for what they have. They don’t take what doesn’t belong to them because they know what it feels like to have something taken from them. They have experienced loss on a great scale and only wants peace for everyone.

They don’t control the narrative but they’re fighting to have their story heard. And the truth is they wouldn’t go to war to conquer more as their hearts already appreciate what they have.

Cambodia wants peace. They don’t want conflict.
