Internet of Things หรือในชื่อย่อ IoT ที่มีการผสานการทำงานของฮาร์ดแวร์กับอินเทอร์เน็ตในลักษณะต่างๆ เช่น ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตเพื่อเก็บข้อมูล ประมวลผล แสดงข้อมูล แชร์ข้อมูล ซึ่งข้อมูลในที่นี้อาจหมายถึงคอนเทนต์ต่างๆ อาทิ พลังงาน สถานะต่างๆ ลำดับงานต่างๆ ระบบมัลติมีเดียต่างๆ และอื่นๆ ซึ่งคือการควบคุมบ้าน อาคาร แบบอัตโนมัติ ผ่านระบบ Internet ที่มีอยู่แล้วตาม Devices ต่างๆ
