Matheus & Lydia, believe in understanding the foundation of the body before building the structure of the dance. Matheus, from Florianópolis, started his journey in 2016 and has been obsessed with biomechanics and musicality ever since. Lydia, a former ballet and jazz dancer from Minnesota, found her way to Brazilian Zouk at 19 and Lambada at 20—bringing solo technique into the embrace of partner dance.

Together, they are taking this philosophy on the road, teaching at congresses worldwide to help dancers move with sustainability, connection, and soul.

And they are bringing it all to our upcoming Zouk Weekender! 🎉 Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned social dancer, we’ll help you break down movement, refine your flow, and feel the music like never before.
