For veteran racer Suttipong Smittachart, widely known as “Arto,” Bangsaen is one of Thailand's most demanding street circuits.

Unlike permanent circuits, Bangsaen is assembled for competition only once a year. Drivers have approximately four to five days during Race Week to learn the conditions, adjust their racing lines, and find the limits of their cars.

For Saravut Sereethoranakul, known as “Gy,” the key to success at Bangsaen is not simply setting the fastest lap.

For Chontida Asavahame (Pleng), motorsport has been part of her life since childhood. Growing up watching her father compete and spending time alongside racing crews, she developed a deep appreciation for the teamwork, dedication, and unpredictability that make racing so special.
One of her proudest memories is her father's championship victory, which she remembers as a shared achievement for the entire team. Although Vattana Motorsport, recognized by its iconic horse-head emblem, is no longer actively competing as it once did, the team continues providing specialized racing technical services in Thailand and internationally.
Pleng remains determined to bring Vattana Motorsport back to the starting grid. For her, Bangsaen Grand Prix holds a special place in the team's history, and she hopes to see its racing cars return to the iconic seaside circuit, welcomed once again by passionate motorsport fans.
