Ekanit Panya to Port FC done deal 🧡💙

According to ballthai, “Book” Ekanit Panya has swapped Pathum Thani for Khlong Toei and will be joining us next season!! 😁

Despite being 26, Ekanit is a very experienced winger/attacking midfielder, having J-League experience with the Urawa Red Diamonds as well as winning Thai League with Chiangrai in 2019 🏆

He is also a Thai national team regular, winning the ASEAN Cup in 2022 and Kings Cup in 2024 while playing for Muangthong 👹

Ekanit is a very welcomed addition to the increasingly dangerous Port frontline ⚡️

Yesterday Port announced the comeback of veteran right back Nitipong Selanon, with squad depth in mind with our qualification to the AFC Champions League Elite 🌏

Nitipong spent 6 years at Port, playing 168 times (7th highest) including 90 minutes in our 2019 FA Cup win 🧡💙

He then moved to Bangkok United in 2022, where he formed a formidable defensvie partnership with our other new arrival Manuel Tom Bihr, playing 73 times together over 4 years 🤯

🇨🇴 1.90m former Lazio striker Brayan Perea scored 4 goals in 7 games in the Bulgarian relegation playoff season

🇮🇶 Rebin Sulaka won the Thai League twice with Buriram along side current Port midfielder Peeradol Chamrasamee

🇵🇭 Danish born Falkesgaard spent 5 years in between the sticks for Bangkok United

🇧🇷 Left footed centre back Matheus Lins won the Moldovan league last season with Sheriff

🇹🇭 U23 Thai national Peerawat played 18 games for Prachuap last season at centreback, fullback and midfield

Khlong Toei has a new head coach and oh boy is it a big one - Alexandre Gama is the most successful foreign Thai League manager of all time, bringing Buriram and Chiangrai to glory in the past 🏆

Most recently he took Lamphun to the League Cup final (beating Port on the way there 😐) but unfortunately lost to Buriram the cheats

It’s about time we had an actual winner in the dugout it’s been too long. Hopefully we make some good signings to back him up too 🤞🦁
