Our players showed fantastic attitude today, giving 100% despite the wet conditions. Football isn't always played on perfect pitches or under blue skies, so learning to adapt is a huge part of their development.

Playing in the rain teaches players how the ball behaves differently on wet surfaces, how to adjust their first touch and make quick decisions. These are experiences that can't be replicated on a dry pitch.
