From Chiangmai to Australia! 🇹🇭 🇦🇺

Following the success of Pudis from Prince Rugby Club, Cobras Rugby Club and Chiang Mai All Stars, we are pleased to announce that Amiel Wichai will be joining the Kempsey Cannonballs for a season. Having only played rugby for 3 years at Lanna Rugby Club this is a great testament to his coach-ability and attitude.

Kempsey Cannonballs have a rich rugby history of over 50 years of producing great rugby players. Currently there are three male players of the club currently playing Super Rugby, one in the Aussie 7s side and one female player representing New South Wales in Rugby 7s.

Thank you to Craig Harman and 11's Rugby for helping to organise this amazing opportunity! 🙏

But before he heads off, there’s just the small matter of Amiel pulling on the jersey for the CNX Lanna Cobras at the Phuket International Rugby 11s next weekend. 🏉🔥

Kempsey Cannonballs เป็นสโมสรที่มีประวัติศาสตร์อันยาวนานในวงการรักบี้ โดยปัจจุบันมีนักกีฬาของสโมสร 3 คนที่กำลังแข่งขันในระดับ Super Rugby และมีนักกีฬาหญิง 1 คนที่เป็นตัวแทนของรัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ในการแข่งขัน Rugby 7s

🏉 For the first time, and Cobras Rugby Club are joining forces to send a combined team to compete at the Phuket International 11s.

Old rivals become teammates as the clubs come together to represent the strength of Chiangmai rugby on the international stage. There’s still spaces available if you’d like to join this historic tour!

At the same time, a number of the Lanna Lionesses will also be heading south to join Vic and Alisha in the Sirens’ first ever women’s team — another exciting step forward for women’s rugby in Thailand. 💪🔥

Not every senior has their next step fully confirmed yet, and that is okay.
