Some fun with kids

13/11/2019

I'm just working with those two young men for now. I'm actually extremely happy with their evolution. They start to strike very strong and fast, but they also and mainly learnt to work together in the most respectful and safe way...

Thanks to Rani and Ilay for your diligence and commitment.

I'm now focusing on the rest of my activities .diving and .martialarts . But new children or young teenagers are welcome for the Tuesday's sessions...

Begining of the long staff training. But with high level kids like those two, I need to make sure they're not gonna crack each others' skull open...

Don't they look like tusken younglings like that?

A nice montage to illustrate the discipline I started with: the Yoseïkan Budo...

Most of the beautiful principles I teach your kids are part of that very complete martial art.

In the last months we have seen swordfight basics and advanced, knife work basics, basic punches, and wrestling principles...

This month: we introduce the kicking techniques...

Tuesdays for 9-11 years old
Thursdays for 7-8 years old
.. And a 12-14 group can be created too

Use play to practice coordinated movement! But my child already plays _______!⚽️🏀🏈🎾

We know that our players are still young and developing their coordination and fine motor skills so we make sure to build them up from whatever stage they are at.

Sometimes this means swinging different tools/weapons 🤺 to get better body awareness, but not every player can use multi-muscle movements right off the bat so we make sure to cater to each players need.

At the core of this belief we hope that building up a players movements/coordination will yield more fluid movement between different individual skills.🏅🏅🏅

Martial arts is never done in isolation, why is that?

Social interaction forms the glue that holds together the drills and activities for our players, because if they did not have peers to push them and challenge them boredom would set in very very very quickly. It's not uncommon that players form lifelong friendships that all start with a friendly glance with each other during a Martial Games session.

Tell us how you formed your group of friends through Martial arts training!

With great power comes great responsibility! 🕷🤓

We may not be blessed with x-ray vision or inhuman strength 🦸‍♂️, but martial arts is the gift that man gives himself to deal with conflict.

Martial Games believes that you don’t have to be a superhero to get some super benefits from our program.

What might some of those be?🤔🤔🤔

✅Focus and concentration
✅Hand-eye coordination
✅Decreased anxiety
✅Self-discipline

Quick!!! What age did your child start using logic to solve problems? What about learning through their sensory organs???😲🤔🤔🤔

Martial games players come in a range of ages so we know how important it is to engage them in multiple levels of their development. 🧠 🤓

One aspect is through sensory manipulation, our gear and environment teaches students to be hyper aware of what they are doing with their body, where their opponent is, and how to creatively put together logic to solve their immediate problem.

Ready? Set? GO!!!🎉🎉🎉

Team sports games demand our players not only grab weapons for themselves but think of their teammates...

So why does Teamwork matter?🤔 Well working cooperatively teaches students to respect each others opinions and abilities to win not only the immediate game but the multiple games played through life. Nobody is an island, meaning everyone is apart of a team either in sports, school, or business so we believe in developing these hard life skills early so our players can succeed all throughout their life.

We have just one question, are you ready to strengthen your child for the multiple games in life?

We don’t often train players to defend themselves against dangerous plastic bottles 😂, but we support the reuse of plastic materials to turn them into rich learning experiences. What's the most creative way you’ve reused plastic bottles? ♻️♻️♻️🤗
