Highly successful weekend for Phuket Vagabonds Rugby at the Dragon Courier 2026 Phuket 11s held at Thanyapura over the weekend.
While the Men's Open Bowl and the Coffin Dodger's (Over 35s) Plate were both secured, it was particularly exciting to witness and support our women's side - Vagabonds Sirens - to their Plate victory!

It's an exciting day for cricket in Phuket as we lay the foundation for our all new Astro Turf wicket.

At 30 x 3 meters the new pitch will add additional width and length to the previous Astro wicket, whilst the improved orientation provides deeper boundaries. The new orietnation will also allowing better orientation for multiple touch rugby fields and reduced format full contact rugby games can still be accomodated moving forward.

The Astro Turf pitch allows for year round cricket with less impact from wet weather and alleviates the concerns of some regarding the inconsistencies in bounce from the coir mat option, whilst also providing a more cost effective long term solution.

We are excited to welcome this new era at the ACG which we hope will be a win-win solution for all!

The Hua Hin Cricket Sixes is coming to Phuket!

29 June - 4 July, 2026.

The ACG is pleased to announce we will be hosting the annual Hua Hin Cricket Sixes here on Phuket for next 3 years on an all new Astro turf wicket!

The tournament will welcome over 25 teams and more than 200 particiapants over 7 days. A fantastic green season boost not only for the ACG but also for the local Bang Tao businesses with the team basing themselves in the local area.

Players - if you would like to participate please send us a message and we will forward your contact details to the organizers.

Grass is always greener... after a good few days of downpours!
Magnificent weather and fabulous turnout for our Phuket Vagabonds Rugby Academy under the tutelage of coaches Kennes Sriwichai Ben Williams and Ivan Usti, with Kitima Siripongsa managing proceedings.
This afternoon also sees the return of AFL to the ACG at 3pm followed by our first ever Comedy night starting at 7pm.
Guranteed fun on and off the pitch, so come on down and enjoy!

Great to see numbers from Asia Center Foundation - Phuket Thailand ( NGO) with coaches Kennes Sriwichai, Ben Williams and Ivan Usti enjoying ideal conditions for rugby.
Big thanks to The Club House at ACG for preparing food for the youngsters as well as coffees and breakfasts for deserving and dedicated parents.
