uthern California. Fell in love with the underwater world and started diving almost every weekend as a teenager. Shortly thereafter, I started to explore dive destinations around the world and realised that diving would be my life and my career. After diving for 25 years, and accumulating over 10,000 dives, I made the decision in 1997 to become a Divemaster, and then a PADI Instructor. I started my first dive company in Los Angeles and called it "The Beverly Hills Dive Club". My first location for teaching diving was in the cool and beautiful kelp gardens of the Southern California area, exploring the Channel Islands of Santa Catalina, Anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa and San Miguel. In 1998, I traveled to Cozumel, Mexico and worked for a friends company until 1999 when I started doing dive teaching tours in Hurghada,Egypt, and the Fijian island of Taveuni. I continued my dive training education and became a Master Instructor in 2002, which not only allowed me to train people how to scuba dive, but to teach divers how to teach diving. Moved to Kauai, Hawaii in 2003, teaching there until 2005, when I I moved to Medellin, Colombia. I learned to teach and speak in Spanish until 2008, then moved back to Southern California and continued teaching there until I moved to Phuket, Thailand with my then 13 year old son Zev..... Whew ! A worldwide tour !!!!!!! We LOVE Thailand and we are here to stay forever !!!!!!!! After spending two years here teaching and dive guiding, I felt it was time to open up my own company again, to teach my own very personal style of dive training. This year marks 41 years of scuba diving experience and over 14,000 dives.
