Ubon Hashers: The Ubon Hash shirts are now available in black with sizes ranging from XS-5X! Costs are 200 Baht (XS-3XL) and 250 Baht (4XL-5XL). We also still have the white version still available with the same pricing. Both will be available for purchase at our next hash on September 5! On On!

In a few days, I will place another order of UH3 Shirts. They have been very popular, with more than 50 sold. If anyone wants to preorder, please send your name with requested size before Saturday 15th. Price is a very reasonable 200 baht for sizes XS, S , M and L. 210 for XL, 220 for 2XL, 230 for 3XL, 240 for 4XL and 250 for 5XL. Shirts will be ready for next Hash on Saturday September 5th. Last Saturday, under leaden skies and with the threat of rain 28 dedicated Hashers set off on Run 192 of UH3. The run site started on the Ubon side of the Mun then across the main bridge to Warin, then along the river to Like Moon coffee shop and a loop back to the Ubon side. 6.4km in total. We were able to welcome visiting Hashers Cheap Santa and Light my Fire from Perth Australia and Q***r Stop from Manilla, along with Vigin Hasher Namfon from Ubon. Luckily, once again the rain gods smiled on us and the rain stayed away. After a lively circle we returned to Wrong Way for an evening of frivolity and post Hash fun. A reminder that UH3 run 192 is on Saturday August 1st. Meet up at Wrong Way Cafe from 1.30pm for registration. Ting will open early. Food and pre Hash drinks will be available for purchase. We will depart by shared transport for the run site at 2.30. Please don't be late.

Last Saturday was run 191 of UH3. Despite the forecast of heavy rain, 25 intrepid Hashers set off from Wrong Way. Once again the rain gods smiled on us and we managed to complete 8.1 km through the park, Chinatown, along the Mun and eventually back to Wrong Way, just moments before the rain started. In the circle we welcomed back Chris Van Rompaey after 6 months in Belgium, Pedalphile after a sojourn in England, and Reinder after an absence of several years. We also welcomed our latest Virgin Nok, Reinders wife. Thanks to the Harriettes for the Hash Snacks and to Noelsinsideher for driving the Beer wagon, and Angry Bird for being the Beer Maiden. On Saturday June 6th UH3 run 190 was held in and out of D**g Fa Huan Botanical Gardens. A great turn out of 32 hashers made for a terrific day. Everyone seemed to enjoy the trail set by MLS and yours truly. The rain gods smiled on us and we stayed dry. We welcomed virgins Marcus, Noi and Brett. It was pleasing to welcome returnees Thomas and son, Taro King and his 2 daughters Layla and Eliza. The Harriettes had a great feast at the 1st beer stop. Thanks to Tasty Pastry, Noelsinsideher and Angry Bird for the Hash Snacks. After a lively circle we adjourned to Wrong Way for the evening. Thanks to SomeTing Wrong for the photos. Last Saturday 20 Hashers set off on Run 189 in the forest at D**g Fa Huan Botanical Gardens. The interesting walk of 7.2 km was on bike tracks, forest trails and a few sections of paved road. The rain gods smiled on us, and despite the forecast, we managed to stay dry. Thanks to the Harriettes for the Hash Snacks at Beer stop 1. At the final Circle we named
Michael Parker "Bald Headed Bastard, " and Mark Pottinger " Porta Pottie." We welcomed Virgin Hasher "Jead"to our ranks, and hope to see her again. Last Saturday 20 hardy Hashers braved the heat for UH3 Run 188. We started in a dry pond in Na Dun Noi and then walked village tracks, through a temple, back roads, with cows, buffalo and numerous dogs, forest and jungle tracks, finally across rice paddies returning to our start point. A total of 6km, with 2 well deserved beer stops thrown in. Back at our starting point we had a lively circle. It was great to welcome 4 virgin hashers. Nick Hazel from Ubon, his Sister in Law Sasi from UK, Bob Bayless and partner Emily from Warin Chamrap. We were excited to welcome back to Ubon, BJ Surprise aka Nam Jensen and husband Soren, and their friend Kenneth. I was able to name a few Hashers. After recently returning to Hashing Trond Hansen was named "Better late than Never" seeing as he first hashed 11 years ago and neverhad a Hash name. Paul Sanders was name"The Colonel" with wife Lee named, "Finger Licking Good." Nok Montanut was named "Angry Bird" as her Mother says she has a bad temper. "The Colonel" celebrated his 58th Birthday with us. Our youngest Hasher Me You bravely walked the first leg with Grandfather "Global Walker" before riding in the Beer Wagon. It was great to welcome back "Noelsinsideher" aka Prim who walked her first time since her knee surgery. Thanks to all who braved the heat for making it a great day.
