I began my Taijiquan journey in 2004 with the Yang Cheng Fu lineage under Sifu Alan Fong,some years later studying Huang Taijiquan privately with Wee Kee Jin in Auckland 🇳🇿 and other students of Huang Shen Shyan in Taiwan 🇹🇼.

I then immersed myself in Tian Zhaolin Taijiquan in Shanghai, training hours a day for years , finally in July 2015 receiving certification from Tian Bing Yuan the grandson of Tian Zhaolin 🇨🇳.

Nearly a decade of study in Vancouver followed, training privately with Yang Taijiquan & Yiquan virtuoso Sifu Tam Man Yin 🇨🇦.

I also became a lineage holder in the Yang Shao Hou – Gu Lisheng lineage through Bai See with Sifu Chi Qisheng, continuing online training with his senior students after he passed away 🙏🏼 and recieving annual corrections in Guiyang, China 🙏🏼.

Now since 2 years I study the Wu Taijiquan (Ma Yueliang lineage) Intensively with Sifu Zhou Zhong Fu who is a part of the Wu Taijiquan project of the Eternal Spring institute a place where tradition, research, and refinement meet.

The curriculum includes:
🌀 Short, Long & Fast Forms
🌀 24 Spear | 13 Long Spear | Sticky Spear
🌀 Sword & Two-Man Sword | Saber
🌀 5 Single-Hand & 13 Double-Hand Cycles | Da Lu | 7 stepping patterns (including 9 Palace Steps)

Ma Yueliang, son-in-law of Wu Jianquan, preserved one of the most complete Taijiquan systems due to his unique access to an unbroken transmission of Yang Lu Chan (Yang Ban Hou) Wu Quan Yu, Yang Shao Hou (Fast Form)

After a week of going through some of the higher level programme’s of the Schools of Kung Fu department of the IWKA here in Hong Kong I was able to proudly give the 5th Master Level to Sifu of schools of kung Fu Brisbane Australia and of schools of kung Fu Istanbul Turkey, both Sifu’s have also been at the for intensive weeks of lessons and events which definitely helped on several levels regarding this achievement. Congrats to you both! 🎉🎉🎉
