CENTRAL INTERZONE COMMITTEE
Notice to Parents and Guardians
Under-15 Player Development Programme
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Central Interzone Committee is pleased to announce that our Under-15 Player Development Programme will officially begin tomorrow, Saturday, 17th October 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
We thank all parents and guardians for their continued support and for giving their children the opportunity to participate in this important initiative.
Training Venues and Groups
Players have been assigned to two development groups:
Group 1 β Avidesh Samaroo Recreation Ground, Endeavour
Group 2 β Marchin Recreation Ground, Charlieville
Both groups will train on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
Understanding the Development Groups
The purpose of separating players into groups is to allow our coaches to work with players at their current stage of development, ensuring that everyone receives appropriate instruction, attention and opportunities to improve.
These group placements are not permanent. Coaches will continue assessing players during the programme, and movement between groups will take place based on performance, progress, attitude and individual developmental needs. Our objective is to ensure that every child can reach their full potential.
Opportunities for Zonal Selection
An important part of this programme is identifying players who demonstrate the ability and readiness to compete at the highest level.
Players who consistently excel within their development group may, upon the recommendation of their coaches, be invited to participate in further Central Zone screening and selection exercises.
These opportunities will allow deserving players to compete for places on the Central Zone representative teams preparing for the January 2027 cricket season. Every player has an opportunity to progress through hard work, discipline, consistent improvement and performance.
Our Commitment
Our goal is simple: to develop every player, not just select a team.
We are committed to creating an environment where young cricketers can learn, grow in confidence, strengthen their skills and work towards representing Central Zone and, ultimately, Trinidad and Tobago.
We encourage parents to ensure that players attend regularly, arrive on time and bring their personal cricket equipment and snacks/food
Thank you for your continued trust and support. We look forward to a productive and rewarding development programme for all our young cricketers.
Yours in Cricket,
Central Interzone Committee
