TRIBUTE TO AARON RAGOONATH

The Central Zonal Council of Cricket joins the cricketing fraternity of Trinidad and Tobago in mourning the passing of former Trinidad and Tobago and West Indies youth cricketer, Aaron Ragoonath.

Aaron was truly a son of the Central Zone, having progressed through the ranks of youth cricket within the region and proudly representing Central Zone clubs, most notably Balmain United Cricket Club. His journey through our cricketing system embodied the spirit of dedication, passion and commitment to the game that we seek to foster in our young players.

While his achievements on the field will always be remembered, Aaron, affectionately known as Chubby by his friends and teammates, will perhaps be missed even more for the friendships he forged and the bonds he built within our communities through cricket. His presence, camaraderie and contribution to the lives of those around him extended far beyond the boundary ropes.

The Central Zone honours and celebrates Aaron's contribution to the sport of cricket and to the communities he touched throughout his life.

On behalf of the Executive, member clubs and the entire Central Zone cricket family, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories shared and in the lasting legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Aaron. Your innings may have ended, but your impact on our cricketing community will endure.
