This past month, we had the opportunity to come together for our Safeguarding Our Elders panel discussion, and it was a truly meaningful exchange. The session was well attended and filled with thoughtful, honest conversations as caregivers, families, and professionals shared their experiences and insights.

We are looking for a Manager to join our team at J&C Re-Creation Centre.
This role is ideal for someone with a warm, welcoming personality and a genuine love for working with seniors.
The position involves leading a small team, coordinating with service providers, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our Centre.
Experience in geriatric care, an understanding of dementia, and certification in CPR and First Aid are required.

About Diabetes
What is Diabetes? In diabetes, your body either doesn’t make enough insulin, can’t use insulin well, or both. This causes blood glucose (sugar) to rise. If diabetes isn’t treated, blood glucose can rise to dangerous levels (hyperglycaemia). Delaying treatment can lead to coma and death within hours or days. Medications used to treat diabetes can also cause blood glucose to drop too low (hypoglycaemia) This is very dangerous and must be treated immediately....
