DC Racing Academy TT

Recently I've had the privilege of representing Trinidad and Tobago in the North American Esports Championship in the Dominican Republic.
I'm proud to report a 7th place overall finish after some unfortunate technical difficulties that resulted in me missing both practice and qualifying.
It was really an uphill battle, but to be able to make my way up the field against the best of the best with no practice has shown me the potential I have for future events.
Huge thanks to everyone who supported me thus far, and to the organizers for putting together such an incredible experience. I'll never forget this.

A few weeks ago, I and Matthew Phillips took part in our first Gridkhana event, piloting the PRS Performance EG Civic. With a new bucket seat, steering wheel, and some extra Valvoline brake fluid, we set out to punch above the car's weight in GP1, battling cars that made almost twice the Civic's power, with suspension mods to boot. Matthew put up an excellent fight but was unfortunately knocked out of GP1B. I pushed ahead and was able to take home 1st place in GP1A.

Overall, it was a great learning experience and I hope to compete and hone my skills in future events. There is never a substitute for seat time.

Glad to see my fellow racer Wortman walk away from a racing incident during the Caribbean Spec Miata Series. In all forms of motorsport, safety is always the #1 priority and thanks to his proper use of the recommended gear, there were no injuries.
