A dominant second-half display sees SCORCH City FC secure a deserved 3-1 victory over RSSR.

After creating chance after chance in the opening half, the breakthrough finally came in spectacular fashion as Finn DeFreitas curled a corner kick straight into the net. Jeremy Bobb doubled the advantage before Jose Centeno Parra’s relentless work rate helped seal the win in stoppage time.

Three points earned. Momentum restored. We keep pushing forward as we look to finish the season strong. 🔥

Scorch City FC produced a strong first-half display against Club Sando, creating the better chances but unable to find the breakthrough as both teams entered halftime level at 0-0.

City carried that momentum into the second half and struck just two minutes after the restart, with Captain Myles Yorke rising highest once again to power home a header and give Scorch City FC the lead.

However, momentum shifted ten minutes later as defensive discipline slipped, allowing Jediah King to pull Club Sando level. The visitors continued to press leading to a careless foul inches in front of the Scorch City FC bench, which led to the decisive moment, as the resulting free kick was met by the open head of Club Sando captain Jaquan Aguilleira.

Despite going behind, Scorch City FC continued to battle and created several opportunities to equalize while holding the man advantage late in the match, but the final touch proved elusive.

A disappointing result, but another performance filled with fight, growth, and promise. The team continues to build, and stronger days are ahead.🔥
