Had the opportunity to speak to some young ones about injury prevention and how they could build more resilience.
Some of the things we discussed were growth and maturation, the importance of foot and ankle strength, quality movement patterns, importance of sleep and nutrition for optimal performance.
We had the opportunity to do a practical session to teach proper squat mechanics and how to absorb force when landing.
