Hey guys our athlete of the week is coming from Volleyball! Women's volleyball to be exact! Her name is Darlene Ramdhin. A beautiful young lady who really set the bar high for those young an coming up! Only 24yrs, Darlene has already left her mark on the international stage. Playing pro,university and last but definitely not least national level! Darlene started at the tender age of 14yrs. She played as both a middle and outside hitter. Some of the awards she earned thus far includes, best spiker, MVP and ALL STAR. DARLENE also swims and plays basketball. She is also a proud member of Glamorgan volleyball club! Currently she is playing overseas. Darlene for all you have done to continue to put TNT on the map, we at local vybez salute you! Thank you!!!

Yes people I am back once again and I'm proud as ever for these to teams have made us extremely proud!!! You are probably asking who am I talking abt? I am talking abt the Trinidad and Tobago men and women Volleyball team! The men came third in the qualifier and the women came second!!! Beautiful job i must say!!! The players from both teams have worked feverishly on there game and have shown that hard work pays off!We have some players as well who are playing in countries like Russia and Italy just to name a few of the countries! People show these Volleyball players some love!!! They really do deserve it!!!!Trinidad and Tobago national volley ball men and women team we salute you for your continued hard work and dedication!!!
