It’s fascinating what you can find in nature! 🐛 This is some sort of grub we found under a plant in Steamboat Springs on the hike to Fish Creek Falls. Do you know what it is?

We had the honor of visiting today. It was really sombering, and I appreciate that the Comité International de Dachau (CID) worked so hard to preserve as much history as possible for us all so that the realness of it is felt and so that we can all scream, “N E V E R A G A I N!”

While difficult, it’s important to us to have our kids learn about history and culture on vacation, so this felt like an important site for not only us as adults, but also for the kids.

There are so many ways a lovely summer afternoon can looks like. We spent this afternoon at a neighborhood pond catching crawfish (and throwing them back). 🎣 What have you been up to?

Exiting Long Beach Harbor and headed to Catalina Island. What beautiful sights! ☀️ This is a super fun, one-day trip that makes us feel like we’re on vacation. Are you doing anything like that this summer?

As kids grow up, it can be hard to know when they are heading into a new stage. Who has pre-teen tips?!

Celebrating Easter on the slopes, enjoying the beautiful creation around us and the final weekend of the season! ⛷ 🌲

So, how’s we do this with Easter Bunny-loving kids and a family that has the real reason for Easter on our hearts?

Without giving too much away, here’s how we did it:

-The Easter Bunny collab’d with Mom, who brought a secret small piece of luggage with goodies in it

-Goodies we’re hidden around the room each morning when we went to breakfast

-After finishing a few morning runs on Easter, we came back to watch a few YouTube videos about Good Friday and Easter, followed by a small chat. We’ve reminded one another of the good news all weekend, especially when sibling tensions were high!

Ooh, we also stayed in the most reasonable ski in/ski out resort we could find, , for the 3rd time. Love it!

It took me so long to actually purchase soups, but I have to tell you that I’ve been loving them! They are the quickest mid-day meals, and they have so many different soups that cater to different dietary restrictions (Whole 30, vegan, etc.) All are clean, too, which means that they don’t include anything artificial.

I was first attracted to Proper Good, because they were on . That is one of my all-time favorite shows and I found so many great products from the show. I also love soup, so I immediately got on their text and email list. After starting the whole 30 in January, I decided to go for it. I’m really happy that I did. Sometimes I eat the soups alone, and other times I add some meat or veggies to them.

One cool thing is that I can see people who work in an actual office even being able to eat these. All you have to do is take off the cardboard from the top, pull off the top of the plastic bag, and stick in the microwave. 😮

Have you ever sought out small treasures in your town? ✨This is one of my favorite little areas of Fort Collins. We hang here when we’re waiting to be seated at . To the right, you’ll see bike parking paid for by , and to the joy of my kids, there’s a toy shop () and candy shop () just steps away. Love it! 💜
