Sometimes you just have to grab your friends, jump on our Original Dhow Boat and escape for a day of diving, sandbanks, dancing, laughing and a LOT of good vibes! 🕺💃☀️

This time, we kidnapped our friends and colleagues from Bawe Island and headed out for a private diving & sandbank adventure! 🤿⛵️🏝️

And it was a very special day for Michela, who completed her first dive as part of her SSI Basic Diver course with us! 🧜🏻‍♀️

But at Bawe Diving Center, your first dive comes with one very important tradition…
✊ ROCK. ✋PAPER. ✌️SCISSORS.

After all that serious diving business, we headed to the stunning Nakupenda Sandbank for turquoise water, sunshine, crazy laughter and, of course, some serious fun on our Dhow Boat! 🏝️⛵️👙

Margarita & Jose are BACK underwater! 🧜‍♀️🧜

They joined Kalle & Tanja for an SSI Scuba Skills Update at the Bawe House Reef, refreshing their skills, rebuilding confidence, and enjoying those beautiful underwater moments!

And the adventure didn’t stop there! The very next day, we hopped aboard our original Dhow Boat and headed to Bawe North! ⛵
🌧️ Did the rain try to spoil our fun? NOT A CHANCE! 😂
We danced, laughed, explored, and made unforgettable memories together. Because at Bawe, a little rain just makes the adventure even more fun! 🕺💃

🤿😂 “ARE YOU OKAY?” — “THIS WAS FUN!!!” 😂🤿
Well… THAT’S how you know we have a future diver! 😎
Yuuki completed the SSI Junior Basic Diver course with Instructor Kalle — and what an adventure it was! 🐠🤿💙
First ever BACK-ROLL ENTRY…
Kalle: “Are you okay?”
Yuuki: “THIS WAS FUN!!!” 😂😂😂
Okay then… LET’S DIVE! 🤿🤙🏻
And dive we did! Yuuki had an absolutely fantastic time underwater, discovering the amazing feeling of breathing, exploring and having fun beneath the surface. 🤩
But wait… the adventure wasn’t over yet! 😎
Yuuki also got the chance to DRIVE THE DHOW BOAT together with our captains Saidi and Seif! ⛵️
From first back-roll…

➡️ to driving a traditional Dhow Boat!

🤿 FROM DOCTOR TO SNORKEL PRO… AND THEN STRAIGHT TO DIVING! 🤿
Today was a VERY exciting day at Bawe Diving Center! 🎉
Our amazing SSI Snorkel Instructor Tanja had a very important student — Dr. George Gration, the doctor of Bawe Island! 👨‍⚕️🏝️
The mission?
👉 Learn to swim 🏊‍♂️
👉 Learn to float 🌊
👉 Learn to snorkel 🤿
👉 And most importantly: HAVE FUN!
And guess what?! 🎉🎉🎉
GEORGE PASSED HIS SNORKEL COURSE! 🥳🐠🏆
But we weren’t finished yet… 😎
Next up, Instructor Kalle took over and introduced Dr. George to the underwater world — giving him the chance to try scuba diving for the very first time! 🤿

🤙🏻 FROM MASTER CHEF TO MASTER DIVER! 🤙🏻
Our good friend and Bawe Island’s amazing head chef Alessandro Battisti has officially traded his chef’s knife for a dive mask! 👨‍🍳➡️🤿
Under the watchful eye of Instructor Kalle, Alessandro is taking on his SSI Open Water Diver course — and WOW, what a ride it has been! 🐠
From creating incredible dishes in the kitchen 🍝🔥 to exploring the underwater world of Bawe Island 🏝️… Alessandro is proving that he can master more than just a kitchen! 👏
We couldn’t be happier to have him joining the Bawe Diving Center family. 🩵
And let’s be honest… after all those dives, we’re expecting some serious post-dive Italian pasta! 🍝🤿🤣

Kalle took Sofia & Aakash on an unforgettable snorkeling adventure, cruising across the turquoise waters aboard our traditional Dhow Boat and soaking up the beauty of the stunning Sand Bank. 🐠🤿🏝️
And of course… there was NO shortage of laughter, dancing and good vibes! 🤩
A huge shoutout to our fantastic boat crew Saidi, Ali & Seif, who made sure the party started on the boat and didn’t stop all day! 🎶🥳

Emma took her very first steps into the underwater world with an SSI Try Scuba experience, guided by Instructor Kalle! 🐠
We started in the pool, where Emma learned the essential scuba skills and got comfortable breathing underwater. Once she was ready, we headed out for her first real underwater adventure at the beautiful Bawe House Reef. 🧜🏻‍♀️
What an amazing first dive, Emma! We’re so proud of you! 🩵👏
