Our good friend and Bawe Island’s amazing head chef Alessandro Battisti has officially traded his chef’s knife for a dive mask! 👨‍🍳➡️🤿
Under the watchful eye of Instructor Kalle, Alessandro is taking on his SSI Open Water Diver course — and WOW, what a ride it has been! 🐠
From creating incredible dishes in the kitchen 🍝🔥 to exploring the underwater world of Bawe Island 🏝️… Alessandro is proving that he can master more than just a kitchen! 👏
We couldn’t be happier to have him joining the Bawe Diving Center family. 🩵
And let’s be honest… after all those dives, we’re expecting some serious post-dive Italian pasta! 🍝🤿🤣

Emma took her very first steps into the underwater world with an SSI Try Scuba experience, guided by Instructor Kalle! 🐠
We started in the pool, where Emma learned the essential scuba skills and got comfortable breathing underwater. Once she was ready, we headed out for her first real underwater adventure at the beautiful Bawe House Reef. 🧜🏻‍♀️

What an unforgettable day with our amazing guests Giuseppe, Giada & Elisa! 🩵
We started our adventure with a traditional Dhow Boat Cruise to the beautiful Prison Island, enjoying the crystal-clear waters and stunning Zanzibar scenery. 🏝️🐢⛵
After exploring the island, we headed out for an incredible snorkeling session filled with colorful tropical fish and vibrant coral reefs. 🐠🪸
The highlight of the day was watching Elisa complete her very first SSI Basic Diver dive under the guidance of Instructor Kalle. Congratulations, Elisa! Welcome to the underwater world – we hope this is just the beginning of your diving journey! 🤿🎉

Alisée tackled the SSI Advanced Adventurer course with Instructor Kalle, taking on the Navigation and Perfect Buoyancy adventure dives. 🧭

She navigated like a treasure hunter, hovered like she was born underwater, and absolutely crushed every challenge! 🧜🏻‍♀️

But the real highlight? Watch until the very end... After giving 110% underwater, Alisée completely powered down and fell asleep like the cutest little puppy. 😴🐶🩵

Mission accomplished. Skills unlocked. Battery: 0% 🔋😂

🐬 What a fantastic day with Evelyn and Darren! 🐬
Evelyn and Darren refreshed their Open Water skills with Instructor Kalle before heading out for an amazing dive at the beautiful Bawe South dive site. The adventure became even more special when a pod of dolphins joined us underwater! 🐬
The fun didn’t stop after the dive — there was a joyful atmosphere on the dive boat, with plenty of dancing, laughter, and relaxing together with our wonderful boat crew. 🕺🎶☀️
